Tiny Little Boxes

It is difficult to comprehend the majesty and Glory of God. In an effort to understand and control Him, we try to place Him in a tiny little box that we can put on a shelf and control. God becomes a sort of celestial genie. We can take the box down and admire it, even open it to peer inside at this heavenly being that we call our own.

But God is not to be confined in this manner. His ways are mysterious. God's hands put the stars in the sky and scooped out the ocean depths. Do we dare to try and create a box that will corral our redeemer? Instead, let's worship the majesty and mystery of God.
